Red Hulk, in the "Brave New World" storyline (and appearing as a BigFig Lego character), is generally understood to be General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. Ross, obsessed with stopping the original Hulk, ultimately underwent a process to become a Hulk himself, albeit one with red skin.
Unlike Bruce Banner's Hulk, Red Hulk retains his intelligence and strategic military mind in his transformed state. This makes him a significantly more calculating and dangerous foe. He can also absorb energy, a unique ability that the original Hulk lacks.
In the "Brave New World" arc, his motivations remain complex, often operating in morally grey areas. He's seen working against various threats, sometimes alongside or against other heroes and villains, making his true allegiance constantly questionable. Ultimately, he serves as a powerful anti-hero willing to do whatever he deems necessary to protect the world, even if it means crossing ethical lines.
